Gone But Not Forgotten.
HackFest '07 alpha-numeric landscaping created by Matt O. Marion
Pierre, showing young, naive American girls a thing or two about cards. He won some $7.41 that evening, and back in NYC the following week, magnanimously took Amira to lunch at Amad & Ali's Pita Palace, home of the "$4.99 all-you-can-stomach" buffet and cell phone store.
Merci from our French Connection.
If Pierre is trying to get on our good side, he's doing a pretty good job! Received this card recently and his thanks go out to all present in Baltimore in August where he was made an honorary HackFesterion and designated as our Paris site selection rep -- just in case we decide to hold one of yearly gatherings in proximity to the Eiffel Tower. (We know at least two people who would readily vote for that -- Amira and Nicole).
'07 Itinerary
Commissioner Marion
Note: Before conjuring up the following itinerary, HF2007 Commish, RJM, fell into a deep, two-hour trance (see above). During that time, he conceived the document that you are about to read...
The following is a flexible option package offered to the participants of the Hackfest 2007 to be held in Jen’s Estate (9318 Montego Avenue) as its base of operation and inclusive of all potential activities:
Since the actual commencing of this year’s celebration is somewhat cloudy, I will assume that all will be present by the evening of Thursday, August 9, for a cookout and backyard activities and round table discussion held by the commissioners to examine, not only the current Hackfest golf format, but to look at potential future heir-apparent Hackfest commissioners.
Welcome Wagon for the early arrivals TorreyMarions and possibly WarringtonMarions.
Menu will be determined by the time of arrival and the number of arrivals. Please commit by Tuesday one way or another with ETA and family member in tow.
Libations and delectables to be consumed in mass quantities.
Note: Matt has calibrated the scoring tool so that the golf competition is equitable. He also has included all players (Maggie, Logan, Charlie, Matt,& Bros).
